General Information
WynterGreene is a a bilingual non-profit magazine-style publication of interest to Canadian pagans, especially those living in Eastern Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently registered in Quebec as community association. We publish four time per year and currently have subscribers from Vancouver to Newfoundland, as well as distributors in Montreal and Halifax. WynterGreene welcomes contributions from any and all pagan traditions.
WynterGreene has pledged a commitment to the environment. Each issue is printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper by a print-shop in Montreal specialising in environmentally- and socially-responsibly printing, Mardigrafe. As well, the paper used for the cover (Mohawk) was produced in a factory that uses wind-generated electricity, and the paper used for the inside pages of the magazine (Cascades DP100) was produced using energy generated from biogas (basically recaptured gas from compost).
WynterGreene also offers free professional and pagan events listings, and also accepts paid advertising to help defray the costs of publication.
WynterGreene is available for $2 per issue. To find out the locations of distributors near you, or to inquire about becoming a distributor, please contact us. Subscriptions are also available.
WynterGreene is always looking for submissions of feature articles, news, reviews and art work. If you have an idea or a submission, please take a look at our Guidelines for Contributors or drop us a line.
